ANIME FIELD NOTES
Promare
Quick notes for reviewing a match. This page is shorter than our expanded study guides.
Promare gives rescue work an unusually bright, kinetic science-fiction setting. Galo and Lio stand in different relationships to a conflict involving fire and social power. Their encounter makes the contrast between public explanations and individual experience important.
What to notice
Separate a rescue organization, a group identity and a person's name. A visual association with flames does not make every character part of the same organization. The game's reverse studio question asks about this particular feature film rather than all fire-themed anime.
Keep these straight
- Galo and Lio occupy different positions in the opening conflict.
- Burning Rescue and the Burnish are different categories.
- Trigger is the animation studio associated with the feature film in this game's question.
